Transforming Anger & Conflict into Allies
(6 Week Series)*

Encountering anger and conflict is a daily part of the human experience. Whether at home, in the workplace, or in general life, adults are constantly finding themselves in the position of either allowing anger and conflict to detract from the quality of their lives or to use those same experiences as opportunities to learn new skills to improve their lives.

Designed for men and women over the age of 18, this series provides the skills necessary to recognize and manage anger before it escalates to a destructive level. It also teaches the skills necessary to recognize conflict, and to manage it in a way that builds and strengthens relationships rather than having conflict tear relationships down.

Topics included in the class: the physical signs of anger, ways to de-escalate anger, conflict styles, problem-solving strategies, ways to handle difficult people, fair fighting techniques, and much more. This class runs for 6 weeks.

Adults that complete this course will be able to:

  • Utilize cooling off techniques to de-escalate anger
  • Effectively communicate the core emotions that underlie anger
