BARNES & NOBLE BOOK FAIR
Each year in September, TCC partners with Barnes & Noble at Denver West 14347 West Colfax Avenue; Lakewood, CO; 80401 to hold a Book Fair to support TCC’s Reading for Peace. TCC plans events or activities at the Barnes & Noble location, and on the date of the event Barnes & Noble generously donates a portion of each customer’s purchase to TCC’s Reading for Peace. This will not increase the total purchase price, and customers are still be able to get membership card and coupon discounts. All purchases, including books, music, DVDs and items from the Café count for this promotion.
TCC publishes lists of recommended reading for all ages on conflict management, communication and relationship building, workplace conflict and intergenerational conflict, as well as a “wish list” books for Reading for Peace if shoppers wish to purchase and donate a book. These lists are also available on TCC’s website.
If individuals wish to support TCC’s Book Fair but cannot make it to Denver West on the day of the event, they may print a voucher from TCC’s website and take it to the Barnes & Noble location of their choice on the book fair date, and a portion of their purchase will go to support TCC’s Reading for Peace.
