YOUTH AT RISK

Effective prevention programs for youth identified at risk for dropping out of school, trouble with law enforcement or pregnancy include training in conflict and anger management skills. Leadership training and values clarification encourages teens to see themselves more positively.

We work with approximately 1,000 high-risk youth teaching them conflict and anger management skills in a variety of settings. The Conflict Center has 4-week freestanding classes as well as collaborative work with many different non-for-profit groups, detention centers and alternative high schools. We also include parent education in Conflict and Anger Management classes. Facilitations and mediations for teens with parents, teachers and others are also available.
