Leave A Legacy
The Conflict Center Legacy Society was organized in 1999 to recognize and thank individuals who have made a commitment to The Conflict Center through their will, gift annuity, life insurance policy or other deferred gift.

A local effort called Leave A Legacy has been organized and is designed to encourage and assist individuals leave some part of their estate to charity. Only 30% of Americans die with a will and only 6% include a charitable bequest in their wills. People can continue to make a difference in their communities with a little planning. Gifts may be in the form of money, property, an investment or a percentage of an estate. Leave a Legacy is sponsored by:

  • Colorado Planned Giving Round Table
  • US Bank, Rose Community Foundation
  • The Denver Foundation,
  • Bank of Cherry Creek, the
  • National Society of Fund Raising Executives
  • Colorado State University

Did You Know?
Thanks to the Colorado Association of Nonprofit Organizations (CANPO), new legislation has been passed which provides a State Income Tax Deduction for Charitable Contributions Made by Non-Itemizing Taxpayers. This provision will take effect with the tax year beginning January 1, 2001, and will allow taxpayers who contribute over $500 to charitable nonprofits during the year and who do not itemize deductions on their federal return to take a deduction on their state income taxes for all contributions over $500.

Tax Deductible Gifts
TCC accepts gifts in memory of someone who has died or in honor of someone on a special occasion such as a birthday, anniversary or graduation. Or you can give a gift for no other reason than to say "Thank you". We'll send a card to the person honored or the family of the deceased acknowledging your gift. Please call 303-433-4983 for more information.
