Questions to Help Define Your Role

It is important that you enjoy the service you choose and that you have the time to stick to it. Ask yourself these questions:

  •  How much time do I have to commit?
  •  Do I want an ongoing, regularly-scheduled assignment, a short-term assignment, or a one-time assignment?
  •  What talents or skills do I offer?
  •  What do I want to get out of my involvement?
  •  What type of service do I want to do?
  •  Do I want to work alone or in a group?
