Lead by example!

Give smiles away freely.

Invite others to join in games and activities.

Offer your friendship to new, shy or lonely kids.

Expect others to be friendly and fair.

Choose words that do not hurt.

Say "NO!" to name calling and teasing.

Stand up for those who are being picked on.

Speak up when you've seen harm done to others.

Ask a teacher or an adult if you need help handling a situation.

You do not have to be the tallest or fastest or smartest or richest person in order to become a leader in peacemaking, you just have to be yourself and follow your heart.
