Clerical

Purpose:

Assist staff in running administrative offices.

Activities:

General office duties (e.g., phones, typing, filing, organizing supplies, preparing & mailing newsletters and other mailings).

Qualifications:

  • Word processing abilities desired (but not essential)
  • Friendly attitude & willingness to work with others in an office setting.

Training:

Provided by TCC staff on specific tasks (e.g., phone system filing system, mailing requirements)

Time Frame:

  • For general office support, 2+ hours per week
  • For specific tasks (e.g., newsletter preparation and mailings) several hours when needed.

Site:

Most jobs are at The Conflict Center.

Supervision:

TCC staff

Benefits:

  • Administrative volunteers help "stretch" TCC dollars so more funds go directly for programs that reduce violence.
  • Ability to use talents and creativity
