A Perfect Day for Garden Tour

The 2007 Enchanted Gardens of Northwest Denver Garden Tour, which took place on Saturday, June 9th, offered strikingly unique and beautiful sights and sounds at every turn. For instance, one may have spotted a ribbiting bull frog resting beside a pond filled with lilly pads, turtles and koi. One may have seen the curious combination of a variegated Chinese willow that had been grafted onto a birch tree. One may have even been lucky enough to catch a performance of the Marylebone Garden Players, a baroque quintet who played live under the shade of a garden gazebo.

This year’s garden tour, as always, brought together the neighborhood and community. While most attendees resided in the northwest Denver neighborhood, people truly came from all over the Denver area to enjoy the beautiful day and spectacular gardens.
