brendam Nikki jorge

Brenda McChesney MA
Volunteer and events Coordinator

•Master’s Degree in Sociology from California State University Bakersfield and a degree in Speech Communication and Social Science from California State University Chico.
• Ten years of experience coaching speech and debate at the collegiate and secondary grade levels.
• Extensive experience in the field of bullying prevention, conflict resolution, and teen pregnancy prevention as both program director and classroom instructor.



Nikki Schmidt
Programs Assistant (part-time)

•BA in Communication with an emphasis on Family, Conflict, and Intercultural Communication
• Certificate in Mediation
•Experience working with internationally diverse populations, youth-at-risk, parental involvment, early childhood development, marketing, and coordinating special events for community interaction.


Jorge Gibbons
Manager of School Programs (Full- Time)

• Master’s degree in Biological Sciences from Universidad de Buenos Aires
• Professional Teacher’s License from State of Colorado Secondary Science in 2005
• managed projects for over nine years, including matrix structures, facilitation models, and facilitator training
• previously served as executive director of a nongovernmental organization in Brazil
• trained in restorative justice in schools
