and Clifford the Big Red Dog made a special appearance 11:00 am for the entertainment of the whole family. They also enjoyed healthy snacks courtesy of Whole Foods Market, and sampled ice cream cake from Cold Stone Creamery. Barnes & Noble West donated a percentage of the day’s sales to The Conflict Center’s School Program. Mimi’s Café and Jamba Juice each donated a percentage of sales when customers presented a special event flyer. Earlier in the week, Mitzi Hicks, one of the organizers of the event and part of our staff at The Conflict Center, was interviewed by Nikki Kayser at KGNU Radio.
Thank you to all the volunteers, Barnes & Noble, Mimi’s Café, Cold Stone Creamery, Jamba Juice and Whole Foods for your support and for a wonderful day of food, fun, prizes and peace!!! |
