What is your favorite book of all time? 

I have several books that I like:

 

· “Love in the times of Cholera” by Gabriel Garcia Marquez

· “The Alchemist” and “11 Minutes” by Paulo Cohelo

· “The House of the Spirits”  by Isabel Allende

 

What are your hobbies?

Traveling, playing tennis, embarking on adventurous activities, reading and dancing.

 

What are your secret talents?

I am good with languages.  I speak English, Spanish, German and Italian.

 

What is your taste in music?

It depends on the occasion. I like romantic music, but I like Merengue, Salsa and Reguetton when it comes to dancing!.

 

What is your favorite genre of movies? (Comedy/Romance/Suspense/Action/Horror)

Drama/ Romance/ Comedy.

 

What is your favorite color?

I like green but black definitely makes you look slim!

 

What was the best vacation you’ve ever had?

It is hard to choose, but I would say a trip to Europe with 30 other girls when I was 15.

 

If you could have a luncheon with any three people (real or fictitious, from any time period, dead or alive), which three people would you choose and why?

I would choose my three best friends from College:  Betty who lives in Madrid, Marielys who lives in Caracas and Carla who lives in Miami.  It has been at least 10 years since we all last got together.

 

What is your most cherished childhood memory?

Christmas with all of my cousins in Merida, Venezuela.

 

If given complete freedom to start a fresh, what profession would you choose and why?

I would probably try to get more into politics so that I could influence positive changes in people’s lives.

 

Occupations you wanted to be when you were a kid?

Model, Dancer, War Journalist, National Geographic photographer, Tour guide.

Marketing and Communications specialist: 

Creates and coordinates internal and external communications and marketing efforts. This position is also responsible for designing promotional materials, the e-newsletter and all public relations and media activities.

 

What makes your angry? How do you overcome your anger?

Injustices trigger my anger.  To overcome it I focus on my breathing and strategize a plan to make my point heard.

 

If given a choice, what animal would you want to be and why?

I would be an eagle, because I would be able to have an overview of the whole situation.  I would also be able to travel to places.

 

What is your favorite place on Earth?

Two places:  An archipelago in the Caribbean called Los Roques, and a camp on the shores of the Caroni river at the border with Canaima National Park in Venezuela called Arekuna.

 

What is your favorite quote?

To laugh freely, and to enjoy every single minute of the journey.

 

What do you want to be known for?

I would like to be known for inspiring populations to work in their communities to create their own change as well as inspiring Hispanic women to organize themselves and change their own reality.
